JUEGOS DIGITALES EDUCATIVOS Y RENDIMIENTO ACADÉMICO EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DEL SEGUNDO AÑO DE LA INSTITUCIÓN EDUCATIVA LIBERTADOR SIMÓN BOLÍVAR SAN PABLO, 2025
    (2026) FLOREZ MOLLO GLADYS
This research analyses the relationship between educational digital games and perceived academic performance in Year 10 students at the Libertador Simón Bolívar – San Pablo School. It is based on the recognition that digital games, when integrated with pedagogical intent, can promote active participation, immediate feedback, and interest in learning; however, their intermittent or poorly planned use can limit their contribution to academic performance. The study considers educational digital games from dimensions related to their cognitive, affective-motivational, and social-collaborative contributions, and perceived academic performance from components such as self-efficacy, planning, and academic motivation. Methodologically, it is developed with a quantitative approach, nonexperimental design, cross-sectional and correlational scope, applying a Likert-type questionnaire to a sample of students to describe the behaviour of the variables and support conclusions and recommendations.
